Parenting is the most important job and a role to have for many and comes withlittle recognition. Today’s parenting offers several challenges to overcome. It becomes even more challenging for parents if their child has development delays, disability or learning difficulties. Keeping the needs and importance of parent guidance in the early childhood years and to cater to deeper impact in today’s pandemic stricken period, we present in this online webinar, a brief overview of the mSpark – CBR Portage Early Childhood Education and Development(ECCD) program with Intervention needs. The ECCD program with intervention tools is also now available through mSpark ECCD App which provides ECCD intervention solutions.
About the Presenters
Mrs. Suma Sastry
Suma Sastry is special educator and counsellor with over 17 years of experience in the areas of special and inclusive education, child guidance and counselling. Her main focus is on Early Childhood Special Education and Early Intervention. She provides consultation and training to schools and parent groups in the areas of Early childhood Intervention and early childhood inclusive education
She is a Master trainer for Portage Early childhood Intervention Program from CBR Network, Bangalore and International Portage Association, Wisconsin, USA. She has planned and implemented several training programs for parents and educational professionals at Information and Resource Centre for Autism and other Developmental Disabilities (IRC), Bangalore which is affiliated to Rehabilitation Council of India. She has contributed to curriculum development for NCERT, New Delhi in the area of inclusive education for autism towards teacher training programs at Kendriya Vidyalayas across India. She has been a visiting faculty for courses in the areas of special and inclusive education for many training institutions including CBR Network, Information and Resource Centre for Autism (IRC), KSOU (B.Ed. Special Education).
She has co-founded mSpark, a technology based app which provides Early Childhood Care and Development solutions.
Mr. Vineeth Nagaraju
Vineeth Nagaraju with over 20+ years of experience in the IT Industry has wide experience in product development, operations, management and development of software.
He has played key role of Business solution provider encompassing activities ranging from
- Product conceptualization and Management
- Business Analysis
- Design and architecture of products and applications
- Verification and Validation related to Quality Assurance
He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science and Engineering from Bangalore University, his forte lies in bridging the business requirements with technology and fulfilling requirements with technology.
Currently Vineeth Nagaraju has co-founded the mobile app mSpark – The Portage App for Early Childhood Care and Development (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kriti.mspark ). His focus has been on conceptualisation, design, development and overall management of the technology and business platform via his start-up company KritiDev Developmental Solutions Private Limited based in Bengaluru, India. He is passionate in reaching out the solution to help parents, grassroots community workers like Anganwadis and Primary healthcare workers, medical professionals and therapists avail the benefit of CBR Portage early childhood care and development through the reach of technology.
